Dr Sajad Fayezi is a Visiting Research Fellow and Associate Professor at the Adelaide Business School, Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, University of Adelaide. He holds the role of Enterprise Fellow and is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students. His academic career spans leadership and professorial positions in Australia and Canada, including prior roles as Assistant/Associate Professor at Monash and Swinburne Universities and Director of Research & Engagement at Memorial University, Canada.
His research is centered on advancing sustainable and resilient supply chains, with a particular focus on procurement strategies and supply network governance to eliminate deforestation and modern slavery from global supply chains. He is an active member of leading professional organizations including the Academy of Management (AoM), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Sajad holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Deakin University, complemented by an MBA, MEd, and Graduate Certificate in Education. His interdisciplinary expertise bridges operations management, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
He welcomes collaborative research projects aimed at creating deforestation-free and slavery-free supply chains, emphasizing interdisciplinary and impactful scholarship.
