Saira Sanjida is a Research Fellow at the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, University of Queensland, where she contributes to the Research Alliance for Urban Goori Health (RAUGH) team. Her work focuses on closing the life expectancy gap and achieving health equality for urban First Peoples in greater North Brisbane through applied research across healthcare pathways.
With an academic background in pharmacy and public health, Dr. Sanjida previously worked at UQ's Centre for Health Service Research and Dermatology Research Centre. She maintains active collaborations with the Psycho-oncology Co-operative Research Group and Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer.
