Professor Sainey Faye holds the rank of Professor of Sustainable Financial Governance at the School of Business and Law, Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), UK. He has over 20 years of experience in higher education, previously serving as a senior lecturer and programme leader at Kaplan Holborn College. Currently, he is Deputy Head of the School of Business and Law, overseeing academic partnerships, postgraduate programs, and apprenticeships. His roles include collaborating with professional bodies like ICAEW, ACCA, and CIMA to align education with industry needs. He has secured significant funding, including a £150,000 Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project.

- MSc in Banking and Finance, Cass Business School (now Bayes Business School, City University)
- PhD in Bank Corporate Governance Regulation from Plymouth University
Research Interests: Focuses on sustainable finance, corporate governance, and the international effectiveness of business education. Recent work explores ethical governance frameworks and banking sustainability in Africa, leveraging grounded theory methodologies. His PhD examined corporate regulation in The Gambia's banking sector.
