Katarzyna Jaskowiec is a Senior Lecturer at Leicester Castle Business School, within the Faculty of Business and Law at De Montfort University (DMU). She has been a member of academic staff since 2014, was promoted in 2018, and served as Transnational Educational Lead (TNE) from 2020 to 2021, overseeing international collaborative programs in Singapore and China.
Her educational background includes a BA (Hons), an MSc in Finance and Investment, and she is currently awaiting her PhD viva. She is a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA).
Her research centers on investor behavior, market efficiency, and corporate governance, with strong expertise in financial markets and corporate finance. She teaches modules such as Advanced Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, Econometrics, and Research Methods.
Katarzyna is affiliated with the Finance and Banking Research Centre (FiBRe) at DMU, contributing to research in finance and banking disciplines.
She has participated in multiple professional development and quality assurance events, including sessions hosted by QAA, ICAEW, and Global Minnesota, focusing on international education standards, data-led quality assurance, and leadership.
As TNE Lead, she designed training for collaborative partnerships, led strategy development, and ensured high standards across international programs. She has extensive experience in program leadership, moderation, student engagement, and inter-institutional collaboration.
