Saima Nomaan is a Teaching Fellow in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the University of Birmingham's Dubai Campus, where she delivers specialized instruction in academic writing, critical reading, research methodologies, and professional communication across disciplines such as Business, Engineering, and Health Sciences. She holds advanced degrees in TESOL and English Literature and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. at the University of Exeter. Her international teaching career spans over 16 years across Pakistan, the UK, and the UAE, with prior affiliations at Higher Colleges of Technology and Canadian University Dubai.

Her work critically examines the sociopolitical dimensions of English language teaching, including issues of power, race, gender, and linguistic imperialism.
Her recent publications explore the transformative potential of technology in education, from bridging digital divides to evaluating ELT materials in Pakistan and analyzing faculty perspectives on generative AI. These works reflect a strong commitment to sustainable development, equity, and innovation in multilingual academic environments.
