Sabya Mishra

Dr. Sabya Mishra is a Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of Memphis. Previously, he served as a Research Assistant Professor at the National Center for Smart Growth Research and Education, University of Maryland College Park. His expertise spans Travel Demand Modeling, Transportation Planning, Econometric Modeling, and Freight Transportation Economics. He actively contributes to national/state projects funded by agencies like the Federal Highway Administration and Tennessee Department of Transportation. Dr. Mishra leads research initiatives on work zone safety, automated vehicles, and sustainable urban mobility. He is affiliated with the Transportation Research Board committees ABE20 and AT010.
