Sabrina Jeworrek

Professor Sabrina Jeworrek holds dual roles as Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and Deputy Head of the Department of Laws, Regulations and Factor Markets at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). Her research focuses on behavioral economics, experimental methods, and non-monetary incentive systems. She obtained her PhD from Trier University and completed a research stay at UC San Diego (2019). Key awards include the VHB Best Paper Award (2017) and the GUT Publication Prize (2016).

Her work explores topics such as CHRO role dynamics, rural-urban labour market disparities, and the impact of social distancing on norms. She actively contributes to academic discourse through invited talks across German institutions and serves on the EconBiz Advisory Board. Recent projects include studies on green product consumption during inflation and the moderating effects of industry growth on peer-driven HR practices.
