Sabrina Fawzia

Dr. Sabrina Fawzia is a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Her research focuses on structural engineering with an emphasis on advanced materials like Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) for structural strengthening and rehabilitation. She has secured over A$1.9M in ARC LIEF grants and international funding, contributing to high-impact publications (100+ papers, h-index=23). Her work spans structural health monitoring, seismic response analysis, and disaster mitigation. Dr. Fawzia has supervised 10 PhD and 3 Master’s students, earning awards for exceptional supervision and research excellence.
