Sabrina Brando is a PhD Researcher in Psychology at the University of Stirling, focusing on animal and human wellbeing. She is also a Research Associate with the Smithsonian Institution and director of AnimalConcepts, a platform promoting Practical Animal Welfare Science. Her roles include Primate Care Training Instructor for the Pan African Sanctuary Alliance and guest lecturer at multiple universities. Sabrina’s work bridges academia and practice, emphasizing ethical animal care, environmental enrichment, and human-animal relationships. She advocates for compassion fatigue awareness in animal care professions and serves as a Chief Storyteller, fostering storytelling to connect people with animals and nature.
