Sabrina Beber

Sabrina Beber is a Research Fellow at the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) within the University of Trento. Her academic roles include co-supervising Master's theses and tutoring internships. She holds a Ph.D. (2019-2024, Cycle XXXV) under supervisors Marco Tettamanti and Gabriele Miceli, with additional collaboration at the Donders Institute (Netherlands) under Dr. Stephanie Forkel. She completed a Master's in Psychology (Neuroscience, 2015-2017) and a Bachelor's in Cognitive Psychological and Psychobiological Sciences (2012-2015) at the University of Padua.

Her research focuses on aphasia, neuroimaging, lesion-symptom mapping, and neuroanatomical-functional correlates of cognitive processing. She investigates language, neuropsychological testing, and brain mapping, often intersecting neuroscience and psychology.

Active in academic service, she contributes to CIMeC Seminars, Brown Bag series, and journal clubs like Neuroccino. She is affiliated with the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Group, Brain and Language Group, Stephanie Forkel Team, and Brain Connectivity and Behaviour Laboratory. Professional memberships include the Society for the Neurobiology of Language (SNL), Science of Aphasia (SoA), and Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM).
