Sabine Hornung

Sabine Hornung is a Professor of Prehistory and Early History at Saarland University's Faculty of Philosophy, holding the position since 2018. She completed her doctorate (2006) and habilitation (2014) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, focusing on the transition from the late Iron Age to Roman rule in Eastern Gaul.

Her studies examine migration movements, Roman integration of native populations, and long-term cultural changes shaping European identities.
