Sabine BENOIT is a Professor of Marketing (Practice) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), holding concurrent roles at the University of Surrey and Australian National University. She has held academic positions since 2003, specializing in retail technology, sharing economy dynamics, and sustainability. Her education includes a Post-doctoral degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (2008), a doctoral degree from the University of Hagen (2004), and a business administration degree from Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (2000).
Her research focuses on retail innovation, collaborative consumption, and service management. Notable studies include autonomous store automation, gig economy communication, and supply chain liability. She has received prestigious awards, including the 2023 Bo Edvardsson Award and multiple paper awards (Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Management).
