Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydın is a Professor at Istanbul Medipol University and Director of the Health Systems and Policies Application and Research Center (SASPAM). He previously served as the university's Rector (2010–2020) and Deputy Minister of Health (2020–2023). His career spans clinical medicine, academic leadership, and high-level health policy roles including membership on the WHO Executive Board.
