Saah Kpakar is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Computer Information Systems department at North Hennepin Community College. He also teaches at the University of Massachusetts Global, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota’s Graduate School of Business, and has previously taught at Cheale Vocational Training Institute in Liberia. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education (nearing completion) at the University of North Dakota and multiple advanced degrees in business, project management, and educational leadership.
- BBA in Accounting from the University of Liberia
- BSc in Business and Marketing from the University of Minnesota
- MBA in Finance, MSc in Project Management, and MA in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota
- Ph.D. in Higher Education (expected completion) at the University of North Dakota
His research focuses on the motivations of African immigrant adult learners in community colleges, educational equity, and experiential learning. He integrates his diverse corporate and governmental experience—including roles at UnitedHealth Group, Wells Fargo Bank, and the Minnesota Department of Revenue—into practical teaching methodologies aimed at expanding access for underserved populations. Saah is committed to equity in education and community engagement, serving on boards like the Center for Immigrant Career Advancement.
