SISKOS GEORGIOS

Siskos Georgios is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Social Theology & Christian Culture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research focuses on patristic hermeneutics of Trinitarian and Christological doctrines within the Eastern Orthodox tradition, modern theological paradigms, and the interpretive frameworks of conciliar definitions. He teaches courses such as Dogmatic Theology of the Orthodox Church and Interpretation of Doctrinal Texts.

Georgios holds a PhD in Byzantine Studies from Aristotle University and has published extensively on Maximus the Confessor, early church councils (Antioch 268/269 AD), and comparative theology involving Karl Barth and Karl Rahner. His work bridges ancient patristic thought with contemporary theological discourse.

He maintains office hours on Tuesdays 15:00-16:00 & 17:30-18:30 and Fridays 10:00-12:00. His publications emphasize critical analysis of doctrinal terminology and the evolution of Christological thought across eras, particularly focusing on the methodological differences between Alexandrian and Antiochene theological schools.
