Sevim Ayça Seyyar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her medical specialization (2014-2018) at Gaziantep University and medical degree (2007-2013) at Kocaeli University. Her clinical and academic work focuses on retinal surgery, choroidal diseases, and ocular imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).

Recent article trends show strong emphasis on systemic-ocular correlations (Familial Mediterranean Fever, diabetes), surgical innovation (ILM flap modifications), and digital ophthalmology (social media analysis for patient education).
