SANDRA PAOLA BIANUCCI

Sandra Paola Bianucci is a Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in the Department of Civil Engineering: Hydraulics, Energy and Environment. She is actively involved in research collaborations through her membership in the Coast and Ocean Research Laboratory (since March 2018) and the R&D+i Center for Smart and Sustainable Civil Infrastructure (CIVILis) (since November 2024).

Research Focus: Her work spans interdisciplinary areas including:

• Aquatic Science
• Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
• Sustainable Infrastructure Development
• Hydrodynamics and Water Systems
• Coastal and Ocean Engineering

Affiliations: Dr. Bianucci contributes to institutional research initiatives while maintaining a permanent professorship at UPM. She has previously held roles as an Assistant Doctor in the same department since September 2020.
