Dr. Sadi Yılmaz is an Assistant Professor at Bingöl University's Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Philosophy from Erciyes University (2021) and has served as a research assistant and faculty member since 2013. His research focuses on medieval Islamic philosophers like Mulla Sadra, Fahreddin Razi, and Mir Ghiyaseddin Mansur Deştaki, emphasizing epistemology, soul studies, and the integration of revealed and rational knowledge.

- M.A. in Islamic Philosophy (analysis of Shamsuddin Samarqandi's works)
- Ph.D. in Islamic Philosophy (Mulla Sadra's epistemology)
Research interests span Islamic philosophical traditions, comparative religious studies, and the history of Islamic sciences. He has authored books on Mulla Sadra's philosophy and contributed chapters to volumes on Islamic thought and intercultural philosophy.
Recent publications analyze medieval philosophers’ works and their contributions to Islamic intellectual history, with a focus on cognition, ethics, and the relationship between religion and other knowledge systems.
