معرفی
S. Pud is a Researcher in the Biomedical and Environmental Sensorsystems (BIOS) group within the Electrical Engineering department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) at the University of Twente. They develop novel label-free single-biomolecule detection methods using interferometric scattering and nanotechnology at the Lab-on-a-Chip group.
Education:
- Physics degree from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Ukraine)
- PhD from Research Center Julich (Germany)
- Postdoctoral research at Cees Dekker lab (TU Delft) and Michel Orrit lab (Leiden University)
Research Focus: Their work centers on single-molecule detection platforms including silicon nanowire field-effect transistors, solid-state nanopores, and plasmonic nanopores. Expertise spans nanotechnology, biosensor engineering, and material science with applications in biomolecular analysis. Current research emphasizes interferometric scattering techniques for label-free biomolecule characterization, advancing diagnostic capabilities in medical and environmental monitoring.
Laboratory Affiliation: Core member of the Lab-on-a-Chip research group at the University of Twente's MESA+ Institute, specializing in nanoscale sensing technologies.
