S. Jolene Hui serves as Seminar Instructor in the Department of Social Work within the College of Health, Human Services and Nursing at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She has taught lecture courses and field seminars since 2015 while maintaining multiple professional roles: Director of Membership for NASW-CA since 2014, therapist in private practice specializing in maternal mental health and LGBTQ+ populations, City of Long Beach Commissioner (Vice Chair of Homeless Services Advisory Committee), and CSUN MSW Advisory Board member.
Her research and practice interests focus on maternal mental health, LGBTQ+ mental health (particularly with incarcerated populations), homeless services, and reproductive health.
