Sébastien Roman

Sébastien Roman is a Professor in preparatory classes at Lycée Condorcet (Academy of Lyon) and an Associate Researcher at the Triangle UMR 5206 laboratory at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon. He holds a Doctorate in Political Philosophy from ENS Lyon (2011), a DEA in Philosophy from Université Paris 1 Sorbonne (2004), and an Agrégation in Philosophy (2002). His work focuses on contemporary political philosophy, particularly conflict, democracy, ideology, utopia, and social imagination, with a strong emphasis on Machiavelli's legacy and its modern applications.
