Răzvan ROGHINĂ

Lect. univ. dr. Răzvan ROGHINĂ is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. His research focuses on Romanian legal history, comparative constitutional law, and European legal thought. He teaches subjects including Romanian Legal History, Comparative Legal Systems, and Constitutional Transplants.

His research examines the historical and philosophical foundations of Romanian and European legal systems, with a particular focus on constitutional transplants and the 1866 Romanian Constitution. Key themes include the rational and irrational parameters of legal adoption, intercultural legal dialogue, and the evolution of political rights.

Notable publications include a monograph on the Logic and Effects of the 1866 Constitutional Transplant (2015) and articles on comparative constitutionalism. His recent work highlights intersections between historical legal analysis and modern European legal integration.

He has participated in international conferences and authored chapters in collective volumes examining topics such as globalization, intercultural dialogue, and legal reform. A 2014 doctoral grant supported his research on constitutional transplants and political institutions.
