Ryuma Matsubara

Ryuma Matsubara is a Research Fellow in Dr. Kirino’s lab, focusing on non-coding RNAs and their regulatory roles in translation. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba in Japan, where he studied the pathogenesis of protozoan parasites Plasmodium spp. and Toxoplasma gondii using both in vivo (animal models) and in vitro (sub-cellular) approaches.
