Ryoko Susukida, PhD, is an Associate Scientist in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on data harmonization, integrative data analysis, and evidence synthesis in substance use disorder treatment and suicide prevention. She holds a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2017) and a BA from the University of Tokyo (2010).
Research Interests: Her work spans substance use disorders, health service utilization, prevention strategies, psychiatric epidemiology, and methodological innovations in clinical trials and observational studies. She emphasizes generalizability of study findings and data harmonization across diverse datasets.
