Kenneth Feder, PhD, is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He specializes in public health approaches to overdose prevention and substance use policy evaluation. His work includes leadership in overdose policy studies, evaluation of Medicaid programs, and co-response initiatives in New Jersey. Feder previously served as a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in Maryland, contributing to pandemic response efforts including genomic surveillance and MIS-C outbreak investigations. His research integrates epidemiological methods with policy analysis to address opioid crises and child welfare challenges.
