Ryo Takada is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Tokyo, specializing in mathematical analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations in fluid dynamics. His work focuses on the well-posedness, stability, and asymptotic behavior of Euler, Navier-Stokes, and Boussinesq equations.
His research investigates dispersion and anisotropy in rotating stably stratified fluids, with notable contributions to commutator estimates, Strichartz estimates, and singular limit problems. Recent publications analyze fast rotation effects and stratified limits in 3D fluid models.
Scientific awards include the MSJ Takebe Katahiro Prize (2012) and the 15th Hukuhara Prize (2023). He is affiliated with the Mathematical Society of Japan and contributes to editorial activities in mathematical communications.
