Rylie Pittard

Rylie Pittard is an Instructor - Nurse Practitioner in the Critical Care department at Baylor College of Medicine, affiliated with BCM/BSLMC Critical Care. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Her certifications include Adult/Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, ACLS, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Her research focuses on improving mental health screening in intensive care units and neurocritical care diagnostics. Notable projects include implementing anxiety/depression screening protocols in ICUs and presenting a case study on neuroimaging findings in hyperglycemia. She has received awards for leadership in professional practice and clinical acumen in identifying critical conditions.
