Lindsey Casey is an Assistant Professor of Nursing Education at American International College (AIC), part of the School of Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (2009), where her capstone project focused on using cardiopulmonary exercise testing to tailor weight loss interventions. She also earned a Family Nurse Practitioner certification (2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College (2004), completing a thesis on nursing collegiality.
Her research interests emphasize effective mentoring strategies and the integration of new nurses and advanced practice providers into the workforce. She teaches courses in Nursing Research and Nursing Leadership. Lindsey is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and holds membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She previously served as a CCRN alumnus.
Lindsey has been recognized with the John Christopher Hartwick Scholar award. Her professional activities include advancing nursing education practices and contributing to evidence-based approaches in clinical care and workforce development.
