Rylan Gajek-Leonard is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Union College, located in Bailey Hall 206B. His research explores algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry, particularly Iwasawa theory as it connects p-adic L-functions to the structure of rational points on curves. Current investigations focus on p-adic L-functions associated with modular forms.
Educational background includes a BA from Bard College, B.M. from Bard Conservatory, MASt from University of Cambridge, and PhD from University of Massachusetts Amherst. His publication portfolio shows specialization in elliptic curves, Galois representations, and arithmetic invariants, with recent work establishing bounds for Iwasawa invariants and investigating entanglement phenomena.
