Dr Ryan Taylor is a Lecturer in Accounting, Tax and Audit at the University of Glasgow's Department of Accounting & Finance. He holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, an MSc in International Finance from the same institution, and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Glasgow. His research focuses on corporate communication, corporate reporting, and critical perspectives in accounting. He also teaches financial accounting/reporting, taxation, and management accounting.

His research interests emphasize critical analysis of corporate reporting practices and their societal implications. He actively contributes to the School's Accounting research cluster, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on accountability and transparency in financial communication.
