Ryan Steele, DO, MSc, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and Program Director of the Yale Allergy & Immunology Contact Dermatitis Program. He specializes in allergic and immunologic diseases, with a focus on autoimmune conditions and novel therapeutics. His clinical roles include managing patients with eczema, asthma, and allergies to everyday products.
Steele’s education includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MSc in Immunology/Hematology from Long Island University, and a BA in Biology/English from Stony Brook University. He completed residency and fellowship training at NYU Winthrop Hospital.
His research explores genetic variants in immune disorders and the impact of strength training on immune function. He has published on immune alterations linked to genetic uncertainties and advocates integrating exercise into patient care.
