Ryan Carver

Ryan Carver is an Adjunct Professor in the Product Design department at MICA. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech and has professional experience with firms including Black & Decker and Gutierrez Studios. In 2020, he founded Sixty Forty Design, focusing on furniture and architectural features. His research interests center on user-centered design processes, material innovation, and industrial fabrication.

Carver's work bridges product design and architecture, emphasizing functional aesthetics in commercial and residential spaces. Clients include Citi Bank, Under Armour, and Olson Kundig.
