Prof. Dr. Dr. Ruth Stock-Homburg is Chair of Marketing and Human Resources Management at the Technical University of Darmstadt since 2006. She previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration until 2016. With two doctorates (Business from Universität Mannheim and Psychology from 2018 focusing on Human-Robot Interaction), she was Germany's youngest Professor in business administration when she began her career at Universität Hohenheim.
Her research spans User Innovation, Future of Work, Leadership, and Human-Robot Interaction. Stock-Homburg has published extensively in top journals including Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS), Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM), and Research Policy. Her recent work (2023-2025) shows a strong focus on generative AI, service robotics, and ethical considerations in human-robot interactions, reflecting her leadership in understanding how emerging technologies transform workplaces and service encounters.

As Associate Editor of the Journal of Product Innovation Management, she plays a significant role in shaping scholarly discourse in her field.
