Ruth E Taylor-Piliae, PhD, RN, FAHA, FAAN is a Professor and interim PhD Program Director at the University of Arizona College of Nursing. A globally recognized nurse scientist and mind-body exercise interventionist with expertise in cardiovascular epidemiology and clinical trials, she pioneers non-pharmacologic interventions like Tai Chi for improving patient-centered outcomes in older adults with heart disease and stroke.
