Dr. Ruth Beatty is a Professor and Chair of Undergraduate Education Programs at the Faculty of Education, Lakehead University. She holds the Chair Graduate Studies and Research in Education, demonstrating her leadership in mathematics education and curriculum development.

Research Interests: Dr. Beatty focuses on early algebra instruction, integrating technology into mathematics education, and Indigenous pedagogical practices. Her work emphasizes:
