Ruth Anaya is a Professor at Trinity Western University (TWU), affiliated with the School of the Arts, Media + Culture Leadership (MA) and the School of Graduate Studies. She specializes in cross-cultural communication, gender studies, and leadership in global contexts. Her research focuses on socio-economic development in the Global South, particularly in Kenya, Guatemala, and Belize. She has pioneered studies like the first GLOBE project on Black Sub-Saharan African leadership and developed innovative academic programs.

Her work bridges anthropology, business, and leadership, with notable contributions to curriculum design for Asia and Africa.
