Russell Greenberg serves as Lecturer in Percussion and Co-Program Head for Instrumental Performance at the Conservatory of Music, Purchase College, State University of New York (SUNY). An internationally sought-after percussionist based in New York City, he is renowned for his innovative approach to unclassifiable musical forms and cross-disciplinary collaborations.

As founding member of Yarn/Wire, Greenberg has premiered groundbreaking repertoire at major international festivals including Ultima (Oslo), Tectonics (Glasgow), Lincoln Center (NY), and Barbican (London). He maintains active performance relationships with ensembles such as Either/OR, Wet Ink Large Ensemble, International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), and Argento, while also collaborating with seminal figures like Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, and Susanna Mälkki.
