Ruoqi Geng is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for the MSc Sustainable Supply Chain Management at the Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. She joined in September 2017 after completing her PhD and MSc in Global Supply Chain Management at Brunel University London.

Her research focuses on Green Supply Chain Management in emerging economies, especially China, where she investigates how cultural norms like Guanxi moderate formal institutional pressures on sustainability adoption. She also explores cross-disciplinary areas such as Sustainable Operations, Institutional Environments, and Relational Marketing. Using methodologies like Meta-Analysis, Clustering Analysis, and Text Mining, her work bridges cultural, environmental, and operational challenges.
Recent publications highlight trends in Artificial Intelligence in Supply Chains, 3D Printing Sustainability, and Modern Slavery Mitigation. She supervises Jianchao Dai and is a member of the Production and Operation Management Society and European Operations Management Association.
