Ruodan Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on nonprofit management, volunteerism, and the dynamics of citizen participation in public affairs. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Affairs (Indiana University-Bloomington, 2020), an M.P.A. (Indiana University, 2015), and a B.Soc.Sci. in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Hong Kong (2012). Prior to academia, she worked in event and program management for NGOs in the Greater China Region.
