Ruidi Shang is a tenured Associate Professor at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management, specializing in Accountancy. She holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Melbourne and previously earned a Bachelor of Commerce (with first-class honors) from The Australian National University.
Research Interests: Her work bridges management accounting, corporate culture, and organizational behavior, focusing on how formal and informal control systems influence managerial decisions, employee behavior, and firm outcomes. She explores unintended consequences like corporate misconduct and employee dysfunction, integrating methodologies from economics, psychology, and data science.
