Ruichen Cong is currently an Assistant Professor (without tenure) at Waseda University's School of Human Sciences and a Guest Lecturer at Tokyo City University. He earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate in Human Sciences from Waseda University (2020, 2022, 2025).

His research focuses on health informatics, intelligent informatics, and human-computer interaction. He specializes in causal discovery, feature selection, and decentralized systems for health data sharing.
