Ruggiero Santeramo

Ruggiero Santeramo is a Postdoctoral Data Scientist at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. He is nearing completion of his PhD in Data Science from WMG, University of Warwick. His current research focuses on applying AI and Computer Vision techniques to X-ray scans for predicting 3-year Breast Cancer risk as part of a Cancer Research UK-funded project at the Centre for Evaluation Practice.

Research Interests: Cancer prevention, early detection, risk stratification, and the development of AI algorithms for medical imaging analysis. His work emphasizes translating advanced Computer Vision methods into clinical applications, particularly in mammography analysis.

Education: PhD candidate (Data Science) at the University of Warwick’s WMG department. Prior academic background includes foundational studies in Computer Science and Deep Learning.
