Rufina Lee is an Associate Professor at Hunter College's Silberman School of Social Work, with a Ph.D. from Columbia University and post-doctoral training at Columbia's Psychiatric Epidemiology Program.
Her research develops evidence-based practices for serious mental health conditions, including Coordinated Specialty Care for first-episode psychosis and Critical Time Intervention models. She has led statewide implementations of early psychosis programs and adapted interventions for high-risk populations.
Awards include the European Psychiatric Association Research Prize for work on ethnoracial disparities. She directs the Center for the Advancement of Critical Time Intervention and supervises graduate research on mental health service delivery.
Courses taught: Mental Health Policy, Evidence-based Practices for Adults with Serious Mental Illness, and Human Behavior in the Social Environment.
