معرفی
Prof. Dr. Rudolf Feile is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Technische Universität Darmstadt, specializing in optical solid-state spectroscopy. His research group employs Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy to investigate excitations in condensed matter systems across diverse energy ranges.
His primary research interests include:
- Optical Spectroscopy
- Solid-State Physics
- Raman and Brillouin Spectroscopy
- High-Temperature Superconductors
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Molecular Magnetism
Prof. Feile's experimental work utilizes advanced instrumentation including a double-grating monochromator for Raman spectroscopy and tandem Fabry-Perot interferometers for Brillouin studies. His group operates Ar-ion and NdYAG lasers, cryostats covering 2.5K–300K temperatures, and diamond anvil cells enabling high-pressure experiments up to 30 GPa. Research spans carbon nanotube composites, high-Tc superconductors, molecular spin transitions, and high-pressure nitrogen studies, with significant contributions to understanding phonon behavior, charge transfer mechanisms, and phase transitions in complex materials.
His publication record (1995–2008) reveals a consistent focus on light scattering phenomena in superconducting superlattices and novel materials, demonstrating expertise in correlating spectroscopic data with fundamental physical properties under extreme conditions.
Notable alumni mentored by Prof. Feile include:
- Katharina Baumgartner
- Sabine Best
- Sascha Eschborn
- Beata Walasek-Höhne
