معرفی
Rudi van Etteger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning at Wageningen University (WIMEK). His work focuses on sustainable energy landscapes, participatory design processes, and the intersection of aesthetics with environmental policy. He has co-supervised multiple PhD candidates, including research on solar power plant acceptance and renewable energy integration.
Key areas of research include landscape design for renewable energy projects, public engagement in infrastructure development, and the role of aesthetics in decision-making. His projects often bridge interdisciplinary collaboration, such as boundary spanning in Dutch river management and co-design approaches for solar energy landscapes.
Van Etteger has received the Vibrant Land Prize (2011) for innovative work in coastal urban boundaries. His recent publications emphasize participatory design outcomes, solar energy’s social acceptance, and the application of aesthetic theories to landscape architecture. He actively contributes to media discussions on urban resilience and sustainable energy transitions.
