Sven Stremke

Sven Stremke is a Professor of Landscape Architecture at Wageningen University, with prior roles including Professor at Amsterdam University of the Arts (2017–2022). His research focuses on decarbonization, post-carbon landscape design, and sustainable energy landscapes. He leads initiatives like the Solar Research Program (2019) and the WUR Energy Alliance (2017), fostering interdisciplinary collaboration on energy transition. Sven has published over 30 scientific papers and co-authored influential books like The Power of Landscape (2022) and Sustainable Energy Landscapes (2012).
