Rudi Pendavingh

Rudi Pendavingh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology. Affiliated since 1999, he specializes in matroid theory, combinatorics, and topological graph theory within the Combinatorial Optimization group.

Research Interests include:

• Matroid theory with focus on excluded minors and representability over partial fields
• Topological graph theory, particularly Colin de Verdière invariants for surface-embedded graphs
• Discrete optimization modeling and algorithmic complexity
