معرفی
Rubén Marín Juez is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal's Department of Pathology and Cell Biology and a researcher at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center. His work focuses on cardiac regeneration mechanisms, particularly the role of the cardiac endothelium in zebrafish models. He holds a PhD from the University of Barcelona and completed postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research and Leiden University. His research integrates vascular biology, developmental genetics, and regenerative medicine, leveraging zebrafish to study coronary network formation and its impact on heart repair.
Education:
- PhD in Biology, University of Barcelona (2007-2012)
- M.Sc. in Biology, University of Barcelona (2006-2007)
- B.Sc. in Biology, University of the Basque Country (2000-2006)
Research Interests: Cardiac regeneration, vascular control of organ development, endothelial signaling, and zebrafish models. His lab investigates coronary vessel dynamics and their role in supporting cardiomyocyte regeneration post-injury.
