Rozenn PERRIGOT is a Full Professor of Marketing at the IAE Rennes School of Management (Université de Rennes 1), leading research and administrative roles in franchising and retail management. She directs the Center for Franchise, Retail and Service Chains and chairs the 'Organizations, Networks, Digital' research pole at CREM UMR CNRS 6211. Her administrative roles include Vice Dean for Research and Vice President of the Scientific Council for IGR-IAE Rennes.
Research Focus: Specializing in franchising systems, retail strategies, and service chains, with a focus on organizational behavior, conflict management, and sustainability. Her work bridges managerial approaches (entrepreneurship, strategy) with legal and economic frameworks. Key areas include micro-franchising in Africa, franchisee well-being, and green practices in fast-food sectors.
Teaching & Education: Founded the Master's programs in Marketing – Franchising, Retail & Service Chains. Teaches franchising, marketing (international, strategic, service), research methods, and organizational behavior. Supervised 4 PhDs on topics such as franchise-driven employment for disabled persons, micro-franchise empowerment of African women entrepreneurs, and retail network dynamics.
Publications: Over 80 peer-reviewed articles since 2000, focusing on franchise governance, conflict resolution, digital transformation, and sustainability. Recent work addresses franchising's role in sub-Saharan energy sectors and franchisee trust dynamics. Her research frequently explores plural-form networks, legal frameworks, and cross-cultural management.
Labs & Teams: Leads the Franchise Research Center at CREM and collaborates internationally with institutions like the International Society of Franchising. Active in developing frameworks for social franchising and measuring franchise chain efficiency through DEA methodologies.
