Roya Attar

Roya Attar, OD, MBA, DHA, is an Associate Professor and Director of Optometric Services in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). She holds academic roles in both the School of Medicine and previously at the University of Pikeville. Her expertise spans optometric care, healthcare administration, and medical education. Dr. Attar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves on multiple national committees, including the AAO Retina Special Interest Group and the American Optometric Association Leadership Development Committee.
